Irish you luck came into our rescue program on March 18, 2016. Irish you luck came from the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office along with 8 other horses. Sadly, help came to late for 3 horses that suffered a died a death of starvation and neglect. The sadness each horse exhibited during the seizure was truly heartbreaking. Many of them seemed to believe that they would die on that property just like their pasture mates. Irish you luck is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse, Mare. Irish you luck's date of birth is March 17, 1998. She is a Beautiful Registered Quarter Horse. Irish you luck is emaciated, body score of a 1, infested with internal parasites. Irish you luck is gaining weight and looking so much better. She still has a long road of recovery ahead of her. Her teeth are in very poor condition, as she was originally aged to be around 30 years of age. When we received these registration papers and learned her true age, we were shocked. She is a super sweet girl and loves attention. She stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. We will continue to update as Irish you luck improves. Please consider making a donation towards Irish you luck's Rehabilitation.
Update May 30, 2016 Irish you luck is now seeking her forever, loving home. Irish you luck is doing great and looking wonderful. This super sweet girl has a lot of potential and still has many years to offer. Irish you luck is broke to ride. It is possible she is a former barrel horse, as we were told many of this herd, ran barrels. She would be a good pleasure horse/Trail horse or possibly even play day horse.
